1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account on Vivah Connect(“Platform”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years of age to register.
- By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate, current, and complete.
- You must not be married unless you are registering on behalf of a single family member as a Parent / Guardian account type.
- Users from India must comply with the Indian Information Technology Act, 2000 and applicable rules framed thereunder.
3. Account registration & security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
- You agree to notify us immediately at support@vivahconnect.in of any unauthorised use of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that are suspected of fraudulent, deceptive, or harmful activity.
4. Profile & content
- You are solely responsible for all content you upload, including biodata documents, photographs, and personal details.
- You must not upload photos or documents that belong to another individual without their explicit consent.
- Profile photos are subject to automated photo forensics analysis (error-level analysis and machine-learning checks) to detect edited or AI-generated images. Profiles that repeatedly fail these checks may be flagged for review.
- You grant Vivah Connect a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display your uploaded content to other verified users on the Platform for the purpose of matchmaking.
5. Face verification
The Platform offers optional face verification to enhance trust. By submitting a selfie for verification:
- You consent to Vivah Connect processing your facial biometric data solely for the purpose of identity verification on this Platform.
- Biometric data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Facial embeddings are not shared with third parties and are retained only for as long as your account is active.
6. Social links
You may optionally add links to your Instagram, Facebook, or LinkedIn profiles. By adding these links you acknowledge that:
- Social links will only be visible to matches after a contact request is mutually accepted.
- Vivah Connect is not responsible for content on third-party social media platforms.
7. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any commercial solicitation or advertising.
- Harass, abuse, stalk, or threaten other users.
- Upload obscene, defamatory, or illegal content.
- Create multiple accounts or impersonate another person.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or exploit any part of the Platform without written permission.
- Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Platform.
8. Services & charges
VivahSetu offers both free and premium paid services. We reserve the right to introduce, modify, or discontinue features and pricing at any time with 30 days' notice to users.
Free services include:
- Basic profile creation and management
- Browse and search profiles with limited filters
- Express interest in other profiles
- Send and receive messages to accepted matches
Premium paid services include:
- Advanced profile search and filtering
- See who visited your profile and liked you
- Priority profile verification and visibility
- Priority customer support
- Remove advertisements and exclusive features
All fees are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless explicitly stated otherwise. Billing frequency is clearly indicated at the time of purchase (monthly, quarterly, annual, or one-time). Failure to pay invoices may result in suspension of premium services. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and digital payment methods as indicated during checkout.
9. Refunds & cancellation
- Subscription plans are non-refundable except where required by applicable law (e.g., within 7 days of purchase under Indian consumer law).
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will continue to have access until then.
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method.
- One-time purchase fees (e.g., premium features) are non-refundable unless explicitly stated in the purchase terms.
10. Pricing changes
We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing at any time. Existing subscribers will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any price increases. Continued use of the service after the new pricing takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing. If you do not agree with the new pricing, you may cancel your subscription before the change takes effect.
11. Privacy
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Please read our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and share your personal data, including payment information.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind.Vivah Connect does not guarantee the accuracy of profiles, the compatibility of matches, or the outcome of any relationship initiated through the Platform.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Vivah Connect shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Platform.
14. Governing law & dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts situated in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
15. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you via email at least 14 days before material changes take effect. Continued use of the Platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
